Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Policy Management, in 2002. Completed the master’s program at Keio University Graduate School of Media and Governance in 2004. Completed the doctoral program at Nara Institute of Science and Technology in 2013 (early completion as an outstanding scholarship student). Graduated from IE Business School in 2017 (Beta Gamma Sigma honor for academic excellence). Ph.D. (Engineering); MBA. Former researcher at NTT Cyber Space Laboratories; former assistant professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology, School of Computing; experience at a consulting firm and an AI startup before founding NISHIKAWA Technologies, LLC. Numerous awards including the best paper award of the Association for Natural Language Processing and a special-selected paper of the Information Processing Society of Japan. Former councillor of the Association for Natural Language Processing; former chair of the NLP Young Researchers’ Workshop; former steering committee member of the IPSJ Special Interest Group on Natural Language Processing. Founded NISHIKAWA Technologies, LLC in 2023.
